150hp Automatic Transmission developed with CAN bus based drive by wire intelligent system as a technology spin off. The prototype was endurance test evaluated, integrated on leading automobile manufacturer’s test chassis and field trial evaluated.

CAN Bus Based Drive-By-Wire System for Commercial Vehicles

The major functions of the CAN bus based Drive-by-Wire system are Automatic Transmission Control, Automatic Lighting Control and Intelligent Display unit. In case of any electrical/solenoid failure, this system displays a warning message and the transmission will come to safety shift. In this drive-by-wire system, sensors and controllers are interconnected via CAN bus. This system has been integrated into a commercial vehicle chassis.
