The NBC Recce Vehicle Mk-I is developed on BMP-II K for carrying out post event recce of Nuclear, Biological and Chemical contaminated areas. It is capable of collecting and storing the solid and liquid samples of NBC contaminated areas, mark the nuclear and chemical contamination zone and also transfer the recce data speedily to the supported formations. It has amphibious capability with least preparation and also having 30 mm gun for firing capability. It has the Communication facility for data transmission to command centre and Navigation facility to identify the location of contaminated zones in the map.
