Mobile Surveillance System (MSS)

It is an indigenously developed Mobile Surveillance System on 4x4 drive wheeled vehicle, suitable for 24/7 surveillance of wide areas, including borders, coastal areas, coal mines, air ports, sea ports, etc. with RF, visual and thermal spectrums based surveillance capabilities. It has Short RangeBattle Field Surveillance Radar and integrated Electro-Optics (visible/IR video cameras and Laser Range Finder) for detecting Ground/sea targets (crawling man to large vehs/ships) withfacility for slaving of Electro-Optics to Radar for visual confirmation of detected targets. Radar and Electro-Optics can operate independently. The surveillance system has successfully completed six months extensive MHA/CISF User trial at the Chennai Port Trust and was successfully demonstrated during the live out door demonstration at the Def Expo 2018, Chennai.
