The Processor Based Exercise Mine (PBEM) is a sea bottom exercise mine with capabilities identical to that of the combat sea mine PBEM in detecting the target ships and submarines by means of the acoustic/magnetic/pressure influences.
Salient Features
- Deployable from Surface ships, Torpedo Tubes & Mine saddles of Submarines
- Detection of Target by Acoustic, Magnetic, Pressure influence, Data recording and storage.
- Recovery system – HE Bolt, Flasher, Smoke marker and Plunger.
