Director

Shri S.B.Taneja, Scientist 'H' assumed the charge as Director ISSA, Delhi with effect from 5th March 2015. He holds M. Tech in Computer Science from IIT Roorkee and M.Sc (Electronics) from Delhi University.

He joined Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) in Nov 1988 after completing one year Electronics Fellowship Course at Institute of Armaments Technology (IAT) and was posted to Aeronautical Development Organisation (ADE), Bangalore as Scientist-B. At ADE, he worked for design and development of Telecommand and Tracking Stations of unmanned aircrafts. He developed Ground Control Station (GCS) software for Unmanned Air Vehicle. He also contributed in design and development of Simulators of unmanned air vehicles and was responsible for System integration of GCS.

He joined Institute for Systems Studies & Analyses (ISSA), Delhi in December 1995. He has handled various responsibilities as Team leader, Divisional Head, Project Director and Group Director. In these capacities, he contributed in design and development of Technologies, Framework, architectures, products, its operationalisation and field support to Land Wargaming Systems
