A Mission Mode (MM) project for development of guidance kit for Pinaka Mk-II rocket for accuracy improvement was taken up by ARDE in association with RCI, DRDL, HEMRL and PXE. Even before the project was formally sanctioned, the conceptualization of configuration, aerodynamic and control system studies, actual design, hardware realization, software development, and lab level testing/ simulations were undertaken.
