The Final Operational Clearance (FOC) of LCA Mk1 has been accorded.
Major Achievements/activities
Successfully conductedAir to Air Refueling Probe (AARP) Integration and Air-to-Air refueling.
As part of flight envelope expansion, 8.5 ‘g’ was demonstrated on LSP04 aircraft
Wind shield with Bird hit capability upto 4 lb mass and 850 kmph speed as per ASR demonstrated
Aircraft Mounted Accessory Gear Box (AMAGB) life was enhanced upto 750 hrs.
Engine Ground Run (EGR) with indigenous PTO shaft developed by CVRDE was successfully carried out on LCA.
Hindustan Turbo Trainer (HTT40)
Trainer aircraft indigenously designed and developed by ARDC-HAL has met following milestones:
Successful spin and recovery up to two turns has been demonstrated successfully.
Airframe is flight tested upto 6 ‘g’.
Performance of aircraft and engine during Hot and Cold weather were assessed and found satisfactory.
LCA Navy Mk1
Taxi in engagement and Ski jump have been cleared and demonstrated satisfactorily.
Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Radar
AESA X-band Fire Control Radar for LCA designed and developed by LRDE has been cleared for integration and evaluation on LCA.
Light Combat Helicopter (LCH)
Initial Operational Clearance (IOC) for LCH-LSP (Indian Army) is under issuance. Turret Gun, Air to Air Missile and indigenous AFCS cleared for integration and flight evaluation.
Light Utility Helicopter (LUH)
Clearance accorded for prototypes for development and configuration flight trials.
SARAS PT1N Aircraft
Major Achievements
CEMILAC accorded flight clearance for resuming flight testing
06 flights were completed with higher powered engine & increased rudder area.
Integration issues of engine and MT propeller with SARAS aircraft were resolved. Clearance accorded for second block of flight trials.
