3G UWACS

The Under Water Acoustic Communication System (UWACS) enables the half duplex communication between submerged and surface platforms through Analog (SSBSC-AM in the NATO and EKM bands) and Digital (CSK, OFDM, FSK modulations) means. In the event of radio silence (in RF bands) during operational requirements, communication between surface platforms also can be done through the same system.
