Dengue is a mosquito borne dreaded disease prevalent in tropical and sub-tropical countries. Since the symptoms of dengue and a couple of other diseases appear to be similar, diagnosis becomes difficult for the clinicians. In case of dengue, in the primary stage, small scabies are visible over the palms of the patient. Later, these develop allover the body followed by high temperature. The scabies disappear after the on-set of fever. Suspected cases of dengue may be detected with the help of this kit for the presence or absence of antibodies.
