Continuing Education Programme

CVRDE, Avadi

The Combat Vehicles Research & Development Establishment (CVRDE), Avadi, organised a course on Technology Trends in Manufacturing during 18-22 February 2002. Shri S SunDAREsh, Addl Director, inaugurated the course while Shri R Jayakumar, Addl Director, delivered the valedictory address.

GTRE, Bangalore

The Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), Bangalore, organised a course on Heat Treatment Technology for Aerospace Materials during 11-15 February 2002. Twenty-three participants from various DRDO labs/estts attended the course. Shri Beharilal, MD, HAL (BC) was the Chief Guest for the valedictory function and distributed course certificates to the participants.

IAT, Pune

The Institute of Armament Technology (IAT), Pune, organised a course on Explosive Hazard Analysis and Management during 11-15 February 2002. Shri S Venugopalan, Sci F, HEMRL, Pune, inaugurated the course. Thirty-three participants from various DRDO labs/estts attended the course. Dr KS Uppal, Sci G (Retd), ADE who was the Chief Guest for the valedictory function, gave away the course certificates to the participants. Dr SG Kulkarni, Sci E and Dr NG Navale, Sci D were the Course Director and Course Coordinator, respectively.

INMAS, Delhi

The Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences (INMAS) , Delhi, organised a course on NMR in Biomedicine during 4-8 February 2002. Dr RV Swamy, CCR&D (MLS) was the chief guest and inaugurated the function. Twenty-two participants from various labs/estts attended the course. Maj Gen T Ravindranath, AVSM, VSM, Officiating Director, INMAS delivered the valedictory address and distributed certificates to the participants. Brig RP Tripathi, VSM was the Course Director .

PXE, Balasore

The Proof & Experimental Establishment (PXE), Balasore, organised a course on Recent Trends in Dynamic Test and Evaluation of Armaments during 4-8 February 2002. Twenty-four participants from various DRDO labs/estts attended the course. Shri SC Narang, Sci G, ITR, Chandipur, delivered the valedictory address

RCI, Hyderabad

The Research Centre Imarat (RCI), Hyderabad, organised a course on Non-Linear Problems in Vibration Engineering during 5-9 March 2002. Shri SK Ray, Associate Director delivered the inaugural address while Prof RN Iyengar, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, delivered the keynote lecture. Dr VK Saraswat, Director, RCI delivered the valedictory address and distributed the certificates. Shri K Jayathirtha Rao was the Course Director.
