Prithvi Missile Warheads - Army Version

Four different types of warheads are developed to neutralize variety of ground targets. Preformed Fragmentation warhead and Incendiary Submunition warhead (both 1000 kg category) have been introduced into services. The development of Submunition DPIC Bomblet warhead is completed. The user trial of BCES warhead (1000 kg) is completed and the warhead is cleared for LSP. The development of Composite warheads viz., FI (Fragmentation and Incendiary) and PBFI (Penetration cum Blast, Fragmentation & Incendiary) has been completed .
