Parachute Tactical Assault- Main (PTA-M)
Parachute Tactical Assault- Main (PTA-M) is static line deployed parachute. PTA-M is used to deploy the troopers from low altitude and to impart initial training.
Parachute Tactical Assault- Reserve (PTA-R)
Parachute Tactical Assault- Reserve (PTA-R) is used along with PTA-M parachute. It is a manually operated parachute. PTA-R is reserve parachute is used when main parachute malfunctioned.
Parachute Tactical Assault- Gajraj (PTA-G)
Parachute Tactical Assault- Gajraj is free fall parachute is used to deploy the troops from high speed aircraft like IL-76 ac.
Ram Air 9 Cell Parachute
Ram Air 9 Cell parachute is used by paratroopers to reached pre-designated location by using its manoeuvring capability.
Combat Free Fall (CFF)
CFF system enables paratroopers to jump from an altitude from 30,000 ft. from AMSL. It is used for deep penetration in enemy territory during war time or special mission as it has glide ratio of 3:1.
