About the Author
Sh Ramadas Panemangalore Shenoy, PhD in Electrical Engineering, joined DRDO in 1961 to work on radar development for the Armed Forces. Dr Shenoy received the Padma Shri in 1987, the first IETE-IRSI Award for pioneering radar development in India, Prestigious Aryabhatta Award 2000, and Life Time Achievement Award in 2001.
