It is a general purpose multiplexed data network designed and developed for the communication needs for a wide variety of naval platforms. It is compatible to IEEE 802.3 (Ethernet). The system consists of three Ethernet coaxial cable data buses interconnecting up to maximum of 32 modular units called the Modular Transput Controllers.
