FOC Build Standard Document approved by RCMA(A/C) to facilitate the production of Tejas has been released by Dr Tesse Thomas, DS & DG(Aero Sys) to Executive Dir (LCA, TD) and RD AQA(LCA-TD) on 28th Dec 2018.
The Final Operational Clearance(FOC) certificate for LCA AF MK-1 has been handed over to the Chief of Air Staff by Dr Satish Reddy, Secretary, Department of Defence R&D & Chairman DRDO on 20th Feb 2019.
The Release to Service document (RSD) signed by Ms Gracy Philip, Regional Director, RCMA(A/C), CEMILAC has been handed over by Shri P Jayapal, OS & Chief Executive , CEMILAC on 20th Feb 2019 to the Chief of Air Staff
The Final Operational Clearance for Tejas Air Force fighter Mark 1 is a major milestone towards the operationalization of LCA with major capabilities. The important store configurations like BVR missile, Tandem Bomb, HSLD Bombs and refueling probe integration are the major capabilities provided to the squadron.
