Laser Ordnance Disposal System (LORDS)

A Directed Energy Laser System for remote disposal of unexploded ordnance, surface laid mines, IEDs and other explosive threats located above ground and detected by the sighting sub-system from safe stand-off ranges of 30-250 meters. "LORDS" is a self contained system along with all its support system integrated on TATA-LSV vehicle for stand-alone operation. LORDS comprises of six major sub-systems - Laser Sub-Systems, Laser Optics Module (LOM), Laser Pointing Unit (LPU), Thermal Management System (TMS), Power Sub-Systems (PSS) and Control System (CS)
