Hull Mounted Sonar Advanced (HUMSA) was the second generation of frigate sonar. HUll Mounted Variable Depth (HUMVAD) sonar is another version of APSOH where the Sonar array depth can be varied for tactical purposes. M/s Bharat Electronics was the production agency for both the systems.
