Iron Removal Unit (IRU) 3000 L/hr, MK III

Water quality of most parts of NE region of India is ferruginous in nature. To provide iron free drinking water, DRL had developed Iron Removal Unit (IRU) which needs no electricity to run. The product is available in two variants: 300 L/Hr and 3000 L/Hr. It can reduce iron from 40 ppm to Iron Removal Unit (300 L/hr, MK II) <0.3 ppm in water

Main Features of IRU, Capacity: 3000 L/hr

• Consists of one aeration system, an aeration cover and six filtration chambers
• Made of mild steel
• Removes iron from 54 to<0.3 ppm (WHO/BIS limit)
• It brings down the TDS, pH, Turbidity, Conductivity of filtered water to the desirable limit
• Flow rate of output water: 3000 L/hr
• Non-electrical system
