- Shri. K.A. Chandra Sekhara Rao, Technical Officer 'A' has been recognised as 'Best Player of the year 2017-18' by DRDO Sports Board (DRDO Central Zone Sports Committee, DLRL, Hyderabad) and a presented a Prestigious Blazer with DRDO Sports Board Logo.
- NSTL organised DRDO National Table Tennis Tournament-2018 at Pitchaiah Indoor Stadium, NSTL Complex during 26 - 28 Sep 2018. A Total of 75 nos. of players from 23 DRDO Laboratories of Four - Zonal committee reps (Central, South, North, and West) across India, were participated in this three-day Tournament.
- NSTL Team participated in DRDO Central Zone Shuttle Badminton Tournament -2018-19 held at DRDL, Hyderabad during 10 – 12 Oct 2018 and WON the TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY and also WON following Individual Gold & Silver Medals.
- NSTL Team participated in DRDO Central Zone Volleyball Tournament-2018-19 held at DMRL, Hyderabad during 19 – 21 Dec 2018 and WON the RUNNERS TROPHY and Silver Medals. The following individuals were participated in the Tournament.
