Electric Gun and Turret Drive System (ELEGANT)

Gun control system provides stabilized weapon platform for Armoured Fighting Vehicle (AFV). State-of-the-art and indigenized all electric gun control system has been developed by CVRDE in the project titled “Electric Gun and Turret Drive System (ELEGANT)” for the Future AFV’s. The ELEGANT system is based on modular framework with function specific modules like controller, drive, actuators, interface controller, User input and display modules. Its design and development was carried out fully in-house.
