Development of 5.56 mm Joint Venture Protective Carbine (JVPC) for User 24 Trial

The JVPC is designed based on a unique caliber 5.56 x 30mm. The weapon is compact, light weight, robust and of semi-bull pup configuration amenable for single hand firing capability. The Unique design features include retractable butt, integral grip outer housing the 30 round magazines & a modular trigger mechanism and Picatinny rail. The weapon is provided with Multi Weapon Reflex Sight for day firing, Visible & Invisible Laser designators. The weapon is provided with accessories like Silencer, Three-point Sling and Bayonet. The weapon is designed to replace the 9mm Carbine currently in service.
