CSWS Weapon With Accessories

ARDE successfully demonstrated Corner Shot Weapon System (CSWS), a special purpose weapon & ammunition that can fire around corners and for the use of Special Forces under Low Intensity Conflict Operations (LICO) programme. It will be possible to attach and fire any of the following weapons available with the user: 9 mm Pistol 40 mm UBGL Corner Shot Weapon System (CSWS) will be used by Special Forces in hostile situations and counter insurgency operations. It allows its operator to see and attack an armed target, without exposing himself for any counterattack. The weapon is being developed in two variants to accommodate in service 9 mm pistol and 40 mm Under Barrel Grenade Launcher. CSWS is also equipped with various accessories such as day & night camera, invisible lasers, laser aiming device, tactical flashlight, colour LCD monitor and a power source (rechargeable battery). 0 User demonstration trials carried out satisfactorily at ARDE with Rashtriya Rifles 0 Design modifications carried out based on feedback of User demonstration trials 0 Assembly & integration of first batch of Corner Shot Weapon System for Pistol & UBGL version nearing completion at both the Pvt firms 0 Development of 'Automatic Dry Functioning Set Up' completed & hardware realized through CARS project from College of Engg, Pune (COEP) 0 Development contract placed on two firms for 'Weapon Locating & T racking System (WLTS)' proposed to be assembled in CSWS
