Director helicopter and missiles heads the Directorate. He is responsible for technical supervision and monitoring of airworthiness activities pertaining to Helicopters, Missiles, guided bombs, armament and their related systems. He is also responsible for formulating and implementing airworthiness policies related to Helicopters, Missiles and Armaments. He also acts as a direct interface between developers, Users and CEMILAC for all Helicopters and weapons related issues.
Shri D M Isack joined DRDO in 1987 @ RCMA (Nasik) as Scientist 'B', and then he was Transferred to RCMA (Helicopter) in 1997. In 2013, he took charge as Regional Director, RCMA(Helicopter). In 2018, he became Group Director, Systems. His specialization includes Airworthiness certification of Helicopters and its Systems.
His field of expertise includes Certification of Structures / Mechanical systems of MiG Series aircraft and helicopters. Certification of Mission, Air Launched Missile and Avionic systems of aircraft and UAV. He has published over 06 technical papers in International and National Seminars and Symposia
